Theatre Glendon Rental Booking Fee

This is a $500 non-refundable booking confirmation fee, which should only be paid after you have spoken with Duncan and confirmed the details of your booking. This amount will be subtracted from your final invoice at the end of your rental.

Paying this fee without speaking to Duncan beforehand does not guarantee you a time slot in the theatre’s schedule, and until you pay this fee, your dates are only tentatively booked and can be given to another group.

If you cancel or change the dates of your booking, this fee will not be refunded.

The second requirement to solidify your booking is to get a Certificate of Insurance for your event. Your company and all of your participants must be covered for $2 million of Commercial Liability by a reputable insurance company. The Certificate must also include a clause that lists York University as Additional Insured.

Until you send this certificate to Duncan and he has a chance to verify it, your event is not confirmed, regardless of whether you have paid the $500 deposit. We must have received both the Certificate of Insurance, and the $500 deposit well in advance to consider your event as confirmed.
