GENIAL: Module 1

Module 1: HOW TO FIND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

This training module is designed for those who aspire to start their own business, or who own a business less than two years old. It enables participants to understand the process of seeking entrepreneurial opportunities and to familiarize themselves with the relevant tools. At the end of this course, participants will be better prepared to identify and validate business opportunities to create or develop their company. Specifically, participants will develop skills in researching, defining and validating problems that can lead to opportunities to offer products and/or services to a target clientele, in a market niche of an industry of their choice. Additional business project communication skills will also be developed, with multiple validation presentations to a panel of coaches.

Participants will receive a microcredit badge upon successful completion of this four (4) week training module. This module can also be combined with other training modules in the Entrepreneurial Skills Passport program, enabling participants to obtain a certificate.

This module is offered in French and in hybrid mode (online and in person).
